I've picket up a few guns this year . I thought I'd post them.
This a 32 cal muzzleloader i picked up for Chrismas for my son . Got it for $225.
This a Marlin 1895 I picked up for $219 . I really wasn't looking for one, but when I seen the price I needed to pick it up.
This is a Levermatic 22 I picked up this summer when on vaction in Montana. It was a birthday present to myself. I spent $199 ,no sales tax in Montana so it was a $199. Once again I wasn't really looking for one. It was to minty to pass up.
That was a steal on the 1895... and that levermatic is just plain COOL...

It's a CVA . The shop I got it from said they sold it to the guy about 20 years . It looks like it has been sitting in closet the whole time.
I also picked up a Lyman 66 and other sight parts for the levermatic for $30 this week.
that CVA .32 looks like their youth gun, hasnt been made in a while, and it is a great shooter. the local muzzleloader club has one for young ones to use. my son and i used it a couple of afternoons and it was very accurate! i couldnt find one, but found a .32 thompson center cherokee....though the CVA is nicer looking. good collecting!
Came real close to buying a marlin m57 for $250, it wouldabeen a done deal if it was chambered for 22 mag. how does your shoot ? the one i fondled felt better than my 39M or Henry lever..
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

It seems to shoot good. I just picked up a peep for it this week. I tried fitting it last night and I am going to have to sand the side of the stock down a little to get the side mount to fit. I shoot my 39A better with the peep. So I expect the same with the levermatic.
It takes a lot of diligence. Hitting a couple gunshops a week. Plus I don't have a lot of fun cash for the gun hobby , so I have to be thrifty . Not to be confused with cheap. But as you can see it's enough to keep me entertained.
