Henry Golden Boy in .17HMR - ammo recommendations?

My younger brother left me his Henry Golden Boy in .17HMR when he died earlier this year. It will (literally) be a wall hanger to remember him by, but I'd also like to take it to the range and use it like he did to keep the squirrels and crows thinned out to manageable populations.
I need some recommendations for appropriate ammunition. I've never had a .17HMR, and although I've read up on ammo options, most articles talk about paper accuracy instead of game performance. Cost is not a big issue since I probably won't shoot more than 250 rounds in the rest of my life. Whatever is left over will go to his grandson in my will so he'll have his grandfather's favorite little rifle.

Bruce in WV, as far as I know all .17hmr is made by CCI, it is the same regardless of brand, they just change the tip colors. God Bless.

That's good information - shop by price ratherthan brand.

What about bullet weights? Any suggestions?
