I was at the Leesport Gunshow yesterday and could not get half of what I wanted for a 4 digit pre-war 95% Winchester Model 24 double barreled 12 ga.

Anyway, This one book jumped out at me--Ken Waters book on Pet Loads. EXTREMELY informative. I highly recommend it for all guncranks that shoot any caliber. In fact, I'll go as far to say this website would not be needed for all of the information thats in there.

Its over a thousand pages---about the same size as a telephone book!
Ken thouroughly describes each cartridge, it's history, it's uses, it's limitations, it's guns and how to make brass, either professionally or in a pinch.
Here's just a bit on the 38-55---There's 4 more pages I did not photograph.
Remember, without the proper books and reference, you are "just another shooter" who depends on other people's smarts

Oh! I did run into Fordwannabe and we chatted a bit. Its nice to see other dudes from the board to swap lies!
