Man theres a lot of talented Gun Owners here. I have a question . I wondered if it was possible to convert my .22 browning lever action into a .22 magnum rifle calibere? I also wondered if i could make it a 2 piece takedown rifle .??Thanx Mike

Re: Browning Lever .22
Greetings
Sure anything is possible IF you have a talent and very deep pockets.
The change to a take down involves a bunch of machine work that quickly surpasses the value of the rifle.
Changing to 22 mag probably goes beyond the mechanical capabilities of the action.

I love my little Browning 22, but it's probably better left in stock form. I purchased mine used, it a well worn grade II, and it's so light and short as it is, I don't think it would be worth it to attempt to convert it to a take down model.
If you want a 22 mag, I suggest getting a Winchester 9422mag, They are getting pricey but worth it IMHO.
