Nice group. I like those Marlin .44 mags. I've got the Cowboy Limited and plan to shoot a couple of whitetails with it later this month if things go well.

I don't believe the 1st ones made were. I had a friend that began cowboy shootin' about the time I did... Him and his wife used .41s and I don't recall their Marlins as havin' pistol grips. They ended up getting them stolen out of their vehicle after a cowboy shoot in AZ back in '88 or '89.
