Nice group. I like those Marlin .44 mags. I've got the Cowboy Limited and plan to shoot a couple of whitetails with it later this month if things go well. :) :)

I don't believe the 1st ones made were. I had a friend that began cowboy shootin' about the time I did... Him and his wife used .41s and I don't recall their Marlins as havin' pistol grips. They ended up getting them stolen out of their vehicle after a cowboy shoot in AZ back in '88 or '89. Motel parking lot... don't leave your valuables in the vehicle while you're in the room, and don't leave them in the room when you're not!
