OT: A little wilderness humor

Post by KirkD »

Kirk: An old geezer who loves the smell of freshly turned earth, old cedar rail fences, wood smoke, a crackling fireplace on a snowy evening, pristine wilderness lakes, the scent of
cedars and a magnificent Whitetail buck framed in the semi-buckhorn sights of a 120-year old Winchester.

I hope that was Photo-shopped. That mother looks enormous.

Wow! That is one job I'd think twice before signing up for. In spite of the caption, anyone who does THAT commands my respect!

One of either two things is fixing to happen here.

One: The guy is going to die of dehydration, from either filling his waders with everything he's even thought about eating for the last month or blood loss.

or

Two: He's going to break the last speed record for the 3-mile dash.

USMC trains its personnel not to do this. Just another defect in Army training.

Based on the lack of shave and non-regulation haircut, I suspect he is National Guard.

On second look, he looks like he might be Canadian. It looks like the regular Canadian army test for hostage rescue and evade that each recruit is required to pass. It is one of the reasons our army is so small, but those that do make it are pretty good. :D
