St Basil's is beautiful, great pictures. I also really like the wooden cathedral, cool. Thanks for sharing these pictures.

I absolutely love that style.....Russian music is my classical favorite, as well.

I agree completely on their music. I especially like their frequent use of minor keys for harmony. The Russian culture loves great drama and their music reflects that.

The roof style is called 'onion dome' style and most of their religious buildings have them. Many are green 'onions' with gold leaf crosses, some are blue with white stars, and of course there is St. Basil with it's multi-colored domes.
