I had Craig Smith of “Circle Fly Wads, LLC” http://www.circlefly.com/
refinish my 1900 Parker GH 12 ga. Damascus barrels.
These barrels are now exactly how they would have looked when they left
the Parker Brother factory in Meridian, Ct. in 1900, in the true black and white.
I am one very happy camper with the results.
They look absolutely awesome in person.
Taking a good picture of Damascus barrels is not the easiest thing to do.
I have got to work on producing a better close-up picture.
Dove season cannot come soon enough.

When I worked for Westley Richards in the 60s & 70s it broke my heart to re-sleeve fine old Parker shotguns, just because they had "Damascus" barrels. I used to think their American owners were bonkers!
Parker's were then and are still now, my favorite shotguns.
casastahle, your Parker is beautiful, thanks for posting photos.

Everytime I see a Parker I think of the craftsmen that put it together. Piece of art.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

I don't know what it cost but it looks like it was worth every penny. That is a piece of art.

Thanks YK,
In all honestly, I have never felt this feeling before with any
other gun I’ve owned. It just feels so right bringing one of the
old American classic matriarchs back to just a touch of her
original spender. I don't know what it is or why I feel this way,
but there sure seems to be something very, very special between
this old Parker and me. I know this sounds very strange, but it feels
like a long lost friend has returned.

Couldn't look at your pic's and not compliment you. Utterly fantastic
As for the above post....you sure don't need to explain a feeling between you and a certain gun . Some search a lifetime for it and some of us have found it ( and still we buy more )casastahle wrote:Thanks YK,

That's just absolutely stunning.
