Mr. Kiowa,
I've got your DVD on the model 92 and having watched it a couple of times, I've got a question. With my "old eyes" I'm seriously considering a tang sight. However, according to your cleaning instructions, I'll need to remove the tang screw to remove the butt stock. Will I have to resight my tang sight each time I remove the tang screw, or will the second screw hold the tang sight securely in place???
I guess the next question would be, how much trouble is a receiver sight on a model 92? I've got a NIB, never fired, Puma 92 in 45 Colt, with a 24 inch octagonal barrel in blue steel.

Generally, the one screw in front will hold it close enough if you don't get to rough with it when cleaning. The other thing to conside is, it's not nessassary to flush out the action everytime you clean the bore.
I like this tang site over the marbles. The base is more substantial, just hefty built over all. One of the things I do when I install this sight is I conture the bottom to fit the rear tang so that the sight stands up straight without shimming it. This also helps keep it in place if the stock screw has to come out.
