I have the Model 49 in .22 Magnum .. and also have the scabbard.

The gun is very accurate. If you show up at CSA in March you can shoot it to your heart's content.

a model 49 was my first personally owned gun as a kid, and i sure used it a lot....lots of fierce gray squirrels succombed to it. wish i had it now, but gave it away, to a good cause when i was in college [nurse whose husband didnt make it home from vietnam, wantged a 22 lr for their 6 year old son, so his grandpa could teach him how to shoot.....i was thinking of selling it, but just gave it to them when i heard the story]....don't regret it, though it would have been nice to have to give to my son when he was little.
