I'm looking to get an affordable .22 lr revolver. I'd like to get a Ruger Single Six. But these are half the price. I just need an affordable way to get my 13 year old daughter going on handguns.
So I ask have you used these?

Never used one, so no advice there.
Academy had a Heritage single action .22 for 99 dollars the other day. Was usually 149 and on closeout.
As long it was safe (either gun) it looks like it would be good to start with and if she stays interested move her up to a nicer firearm for Christmas (or birthday if it comes sooner)

Well, so much for that. After reading Jeff's report and seeing the pictures I've decided it's not for me.

It is what it is, but personally, I would shop around for a good used Single-Six.
