Post by MacEntyre »

Anybody have one of these laying around that they could sell me?

I'm looking for one like this one:

Is this the best way to add a forward sling stud?

MacEntyre,

I don't have one laying around, but when I used to have one mounted I had it butted right up against the front of the forearm.
I've seen others butted up against the rear of the front band, and lots of them like your pic. I don't know what is best.

The sling swivel and stud set I got last fall for my 1894c was from Uncle Mike's and was about $15. I know they are rifle model specific for different diameter mag tubes.
