The Secrets of Paco Kelly's FreeChec

Post by miestro_jerry »

Could Paco or some one please post pictures of the FreeChec maker and any specs concerning it. I would like to make one for myself.

I do own a machine shop, so making one for myself won't be too complicated.

I do not want to go in to business making these, but if Paco wants to form an alliance or a partnership, I would consider that.

They haven't been for sale for quite some time. If Paco would put them back in production, I'd be good for one in .357, .44, and .45 at a minimum.

There were 2 different types of Freechec Tools.

One made gaschecks for gascheck bullets.

One made gaschecks for plainbase bullets.

There were several evolutions of said tools.

If you use the WayBack Machine you can browse the old Hanned Line where some of Paco's Tools were sold some years ago ... the Freechec Tool http://web.archive.org/web/200308100451 ... rkIIPB.htm
