How’s that
Somehow that picture doesn’t seem be what one would envision
with the handle of prayingmom.
Why not? A woman confident in her body and womanhood can certainly be a praying mom! You've proved it - brains, beauty and spirituality go hand in hand!!!
Anyone else notice that the in original picture, the model look like a young Diana Rigg?

I can see nothing wrong with the pics except in this day of political correctness there are some that think we still go swimming with all are cloths on instead of a swim suit.
The pictures were done in good taste and copying a poster from yester year and what is wrong with that?
Some just don't understand it isn't the 1800's anymore and everything doesn't have to be dull and lifeless when taking pictures.
I read the whole thread and didn't see any moderator jump up and down about how evil the pics were so what is all the fuss.
nice avatar don't be a stranger and post often it is nice to get the female side of firearms view and since women make the largest part of the population would be a good thing to have here.

Well, as the resident moralist PITA preacher type here is my take on the issue at hand:
I found the pics to be both tasteful and delightful. God designed our bodies to be both functional and attractive to the opposite sex. Sensuality and sexuality are part of our grand design. A woman can be attractive, sensual and spiritual at the same time.
I appreciate a woman who is confident enough in herself to be what she was designed to be.
None of this indicates that women are mere toys for men and not genuine fully contributing human beings in their own right. A woman can be all things.
Since, this thread won't die I'll go ahead and state my opinion as simply as I can. There are plenty of places to post this kind of stuff on the internet, I just don't feel this forum is one of them. Let's get back to talking about guns.
I think it's been hammered on more than once before, if you don't want to read the thread, don't click on it. The title should give you and idea about what's there.
Also look up ^^^ it says right at the top of the page:

So as far as I'm concerned, Lady Joyce is most welcome and when she and Mike choose to post more of their great pics, I'm all for it.
Oh, and another thought, I wouldn't be surprised if she could out shoot many of us with her choice of lever gun. Matter of fact, I'd almost bet on it.

But... just how is that derringer? I have two little Davis Derringers and while the shoot ok... they're awkward to handle.
This is what I really like about this forum. A group of well grounded people.
We can go from a little eye candy right back into gun talk and make it look so easy
all at the same time.
Griff I am going to answer your Cobra question in a new thread with pics.
Come on now, someone needs to lighten up a little here. There is nothing wrong about those pics. Anyone here ever seen Angie Dickinson in Rio Bravo? Heck, I've seen racier stuff on the Hallmark Channel on a Sunday afternoon. For that matter, the Sears and JcPenney catalogs I used to thumb thru as a kid (I was reading the descriptions though ) left far less to the imagination.
Went to the link - donated $25 - who will match it. Under company name I put Lady Joyce. Could be a nice holiday drive for Leverguns. There are a number of outfits you can donate to.

WOW!! thank you so much Old Savage.
I will text Lady Joyce and tell her, she will be ecstatic.
I have something in the works for you big donators.
Details to follow as soon as I get it all figured out.
Sent this to most of the folks on my list. If you are of a mind you might do something similar.
Well now here is the story, a fellow on this old cowboy rifles internet board I frequent posts a picture of an attempt to recreate an advertisement for derringers (those little pistols Bret Maverick and the like had) using pics of his "Lady Joyce". Somebody objects, can you believe it - too sexy. Then a group comes to his and her defense. Some how this winds around to donations to breast cancer and he posts a link to support groups, a few fellows join in.
So in participating, the donation form has a place for company - I put "Lady Joyce". So might be interesting to make a donation to one of the groups in that name if you are of a mind. Lady Joyce is somehow and I am not sure at this point how involved in the breast cancer support movement but it was through her that the attention of this group got focused on the issue. Might be a neat thing to go "viral" if it caught on.
Here is the link to the support/awareness groups if you are of a mind to donate in the "Lady Joyce" drive.
Guys thanks for your interest and support of Lady Joyce
and Breast Cancer Awareness.
This thread was started back in Oct. 09.
As you can see this whole thing kind of developed as it went.
It all started out by Joyce doing a remake of a very racy old Winchester advertisement.
And with much thanks to forum members, rjohns94 and Old Savage (Thanks guys )
this thing really turned into a legitimate fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Not sure as to what’s in store for this Oct. we will see what develops.
If you guys mentioned above, did indeed support BCA I will email you last yrs. Lady J picture along with a copy of the original Winchester ad.
