For those of you fortunate enough to have traveled to foreign countries to hunt and shoot, what ammo would you say is the most commonly available cartridges in those countries? at what type store would these be sold?

I'm just curious about what ammo is available elsewhere and how it is purchased. Here in the U.S. I guess the most common would be the .22LR and .30-30 available from any sporting goods store, most hardware stores and many department stores.

I've purchased 7mm Rem Mag in Spain and Africa, but 30-06 is probably more common. 7X57 and 7X64R are very popular also.
