Nice no travel and light weight trigger for the Marlin lever
Got a new Cabelas "shooting" catalog today and prices are going sky eye with them too! I see where you can buy a new trigger mechanism for the Marlin lever guns to make it 2.5 lbs and no trigger travel for about $85.00. Sure wish they made that for my Win. Trapper!. They also have the large lever for $140.00. That price is ridiculous! My Trapper came with that lever. At first I hated it but now that I have gotten used to it it's great! But I would not buy one at that price!
The prices I quoted are approximate as I don't have the catalog in front of me right now. Mike

The anti-gun crowd doesn't need to pass any more anti-gun laws. What with the increase in prices for guns, ammo, parts, reloading components(i.e., brass, primers, bullets, powder, etc.) nobody will be able to afford guns, etc. in the near future.
I'm glad I'm old. I've got enough factory ammo and reloading components to last for at least 15-years and I figure I'll be gone by then but you young bucks are in for one hell of a surprise later down the road. You'd better stock up on what you need now for the next 20 or so years.
