45/70+45 Long Colt or 44/40 Leather Ammo Belt.

This looks like a handy cartridge belt for a guy that has a 45-70 and likes to carry a 45/44-40 Colt SAA with it. I have one and it is great for me when I hog hunt. It is not mine, I just know you don't find these to often.

Nice belt, RR7. I've been thinking of getting one that will hold 10 rds of 45 Colt and about 5-10 rounds of 45/70-45/90.

Here is the photo of the belt. It is made by Classic Old West Styles of El Paso, Texas. They are easy to google.

I like the dual cartridge belt idea as well. I had the one in the photo below made up by Ron Reed in Cody. It has 20 loops for the .45-70 or .45-60 and 10 loops for the 45 Schofield, 44 Russian, 44-40. I don't have a good photo of it, but you can see the two different cartridge loops below containing 44 Russian and .45-70.

I've got some COWS stovepipes. Looked at their holsters and belts years ago and for some reason haven't looked recently.

KirkD, I understand what your doing but I sure like the looks and wear of that old S&W. I bet it feels great in your right hand as well as when you rub it with your left.
