Got me a new lever action

Post by MikeS. »

I bought a Marlin 1894SS in .44magnum tonight. Paid too much but I've been wanting one to match my S&W 629. Should be here in a week or so.

Not if you're happy with it!

My mantra is "I didn't pay too much, I only paid too soon!" It's helped me get to sleep many nights...

If you paid a few bucks too much, so what it'll be soon forgotten. But a quality gun will last a lifetime.

Well once again y'all have given out some sound advice. I'm blessed that I'm able to afford what I had to pay for it. Between Christmas and through 01/03 I worked a bunch of OT and Holiday pay.

When I get the rifle I'll post pics of the 1894 and 629 together.

Although I don't quite get the obsession y'all with pictures of standard guns you have seen before :)

About the photos... after a while you'll be seeing more and more, did they make (list configuration specifics here) and the photos familiarize folks with the various configurations. Oh, and we just like seeing guns others have that we don't (or do... or will...) have.
Sincerely,

Hobie

For one thing, a wood stock means yours is one of a kind, no two are alike. For another, your photography will be yours and no one else's. So your pictures will be something we've never seen before!!!
