OT - New Mule-ear on the way

Post by Killer Kanuck »

An importer in Canada just got a bunch of Husqvarna model 20's in 2-1/2" 12 gauge in. At less than $300, I needed to have one (like I need another hole in the head :D ) Just got off the phone and bought this one.

Anyone have any experience with these Huskies? It's full and full which is a little too tight for grouse in my opinion, but might be good for rabbits in thicker brush.

I was actually planning on getting an English stocked one with full and modified chokes, but this one was just in too nice of shape to pass up. So if any other Canadians are looking for an old shotty to play around with, take a look at TradeEx's site. :D

FYI - Anthony at TradeEx can be overly harsh on his condition ratings. I bought an antique rolling block off him a couple months ago, which he rated as "fair with moderate pitting". When I got it, I was surprised at the condition - only minor pits in the bore, and quite good overall for a 139 year old rifle. Others have found the same thing. Great guy to deal with in my opinion.
