Peep for 1886

Post by Dastook »

I have a Win. 1886 modern (U.S.R.A/Miroku) Extra Light. On the left side of the reciever there are two very small screws about one inch apart from one another. Are these pre tapped holes for a reciever peep site? I would like to buy and mount one but really don't want to drill holes.

I have the Lyman 66WB on my 1886 Extra Light. Tip - buy two. Sight in one with your hunting load. The top comes right off with the press of a button. Sight in the other top with your target/practice load. When you put the top back on it is still sighted in thanks to a set screw and the locked wind/elev screws.
