OT reloading stuff need advice

Post by 1894 »

A local auction house has this pic online. Tell me what you see, I recognize the case trimmer , and mayby a scale , but what's that other orange thing ? What brand is orange , Lyman ?
Any SWAG $ for the whole lot ?
I've no need for .45 ACP . No idea how much brass or bullets are in there. Just trying to decide if I want to drive up there.

Lots of Lyman stuff there, Trimmer , Scale, turret press( in third box )and several (3-4) sets of dies. Fun to rummage through that stuff! :)

Looks like a Lyman Turret "T-mag" type press.

RCBS dies fit that Lyman press ?
50 - 75 $ for the lot would be good ? Or way under estimating the going prices ?
Any interest in the ACP brass / ammo , dies ?

$50-75 would be a good deal for that lot of stuff. The press and trimmer are worth more than that.

Almost all dies are threaded the same 7/8-14. Exceptions are the Lyman dies for the 310 and a couple of others once upon a time.

Trimmer $50+
Scale $35+
Press $125+/-
Dies $20+ a set or $60 (if those are complete sets.
Bullets, well it depends on how many and the type but maybe $40 or so
Bullet pullers go $12+
Loading book is $15+

And there is some other stuff. $340 is ABOUT what you'd pay new.
Sincerely,

Hobie
