That was great, thanks! Never saw the commercial in color as all we had at the time (~1961?) was a an old B&W set. I do remember wanting one, though. Man I feel old... :(

Well, guess I qualify as REALLY experienced, as in 1961 I was a sophmore in college and getting ready for my wedding in August of that year. So, guess that's the reason I'd never seen that commercial nor heard of Roy's ingenious "Quick Shooter Cowboy Hat". Dang, I am old!! THANKS A BUNCH, GRIFF

Roy was one of the greats. I really enjoyed watching him on B&W TV as a kid. This topic reminds me of some old pictures I found.

Years ago, I bought a box of old sheet music at a yard sale. Sorting through the stuff at home, some old post cards and family pictures fell out of a magazine. Never before seen, but now revealed on Leverguns, I share them for your enjoyment.

Happy Trails to Roy Rogers & Trigger the wonder horse...

You're welcome, Griff! Look how young he is. There is a #39 rubber stamped on the back of the pictures. Could they be from 1939? They are someone's pictures from a home camera. Check out Roy helping a small child off of a miniature stagecoach ride. Must be from his early theme park.
