Anyway, the sights did not line up vertically with the receiver, They weren't bad but bad enough to bother me. So I decided I would send it to Marlin and have them corrected. I figured while it was there I would pay to have it reblued and a new LeverEvolution Mag follower installed.

OK as is I thought, until I discovered the leaning sights. So, I stripped off the wood and packed it up with a letter of what I wanted done.
Well, here is what I got back from Marlin about 90 Days later, including the sling and swivels:

















Another fine job by the craftsmen at Marlin!
I like the Walnut Stocks much better than the hardwood stocks that were on it. I have been considering a 30-30 A.I. for some time and I am thinking this might be a good one to convert.
So what do you guys think?
