I just picked up my SP101 in 327 Federal
, but no ammo
They said they should have six boxes of the Federal load on Friday. Can't wait 'till I can get my hands on some brass.
I also spotted a SS Single Six Vaquero with the faux ivory grips. I'm already talking to Hamilton about working on it

I can't wait to get hold of some empty brass and dies for that caliber! I have an old Ballard in .32 Ballard XL, and this caliber is a dead ringer for the old .32 XL!

You know, I didn't look? I'll call tomorrow and let you know. I know they did order one from every distributer they do business with.
Marlinman, I sure would like to get some kind of rifle to shoot this cartridge too! I'll have to check out that .32XL Ballard

Is the cylinder of the 327 sp101 longer than the cylinder on a 32 mag sp101?

Interesting! I would like to convert my 4" SP101, if it's feasible.

There's been a posting of a Single-Six conversion over on Single-Actions.com.
I think that will be a great carbine round. Canonsix, you've got to post up on this when you get your barrel! Please, too, try it with the .32 S&W.
Sincerely,
Hobie
