OT--Humor--Brylcreem Weather !

Do some of you older members remember the old Brylcreem (Hair grooming) commercial?

Here in Indiana this morning we have what I refer to as "Brylcreem Weather." 3 degrees this morning with wind.

In the commercial is a "line" that goes, "a little dab will do ya." So I say we are having Brylcreem Weather because a little dab will do ya.

"Brylcreem, a little dab will do ya, Brylcreem, you'll look so debonair; Brylcreem, the girls will pursue ya, simply rub a little in your hair!"

I'm 62 and remember it well...in fact, I used the stuff! Also used "Ipana" tooth paste and remember that commercial too with Bucky Beaver singing.....Brusha, Brusha, Brusha ...with the new Ipana., Lol.
Let Mikie try it! he won't eat it , he hates everything! ...Hey Mikie....he likes it!!!
Also remember all the great westerns on TV every night! Maverick, Have Gun Will Travel, Johnny Uma the Rebel, Gun Smoke, Bat Masterson, Jim Bowie, Johnny McBrown, Rifleman, Pat Garret, The Bounty Hunter, Rawhide, 20 Mule team borax, Lone Ranger (on the radio before TV) Roy Rogers and Dale Evens, F-Troop, Rin TIN TIN, Sgt. Preston and Yukon King, Sky King, Hop a long Casidy, Cisco and Pauncho and many others. The list could go on forever. It truly was the good old days when I was a kid. Mike
