Can/Should They Do That?

Post by Blaine »

At WallyWorld last night. Scored a couple hundred 12ga low brass #8s and five cheapo 170gr 30WCF (at 11 bucks a box, how could I not?)

Anyway, the fellow before me in line had been enjoying happy hour and was not allowed to buy ammo due to beer on this breath. I called BS to myself, but is it? So, was that "concerned person" writing impromptu law, or was it a good idea?

"We reserve the Right to refuse service to anyone"...

However, if they ain't staggering, how bad their BO or Breath is shouldn't be a factor... If it was, 3/4 of the sows shopping at Wally World would get ejected...

I was going to say that back in the Bad Old Days, a beer was the first order of business after work. Anything WallyWorld came on the way home. I was never refused service for anything, anytime.

I know that I might smell it but I base my decision on behavior, not odor. There is no applicable law except that a business has a right to refuse to serve anyone.

Well, then....since I'm a perfectly behaved person at all times, that explains that. 8)

Not when you are a personal friend of the sporting goods department manager at the local Wally's. I've hunted his property and reloaded 45/70 Government rounds with him. :P
