"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."

I do believe that the actual price may be less than the "suggested" retail price on the site. Don't be surprised to find these guns at less than a thousand bucks.

I might have to try one out if the street price is less than a grand.

I wonder how hard it would be to change it over to a shotgun style but plate?

Okay, here is the request. How do you like the Marbles sight? Better than the Lyman???

I have never used the lyman, but, I have marbles on a '92, '86, and '85 and like the windage adjustment. They sometimes need adjustment to stiffen staff looseness. I said I have shot 3 consecutive 3/4" grps at 100yds.They got to be pretty good.

Probably not too difficult. The buttstock from the 1886 Winchester/Miroku EL would work without any serious work. If I do buy a rifle, that is exactly what will happen to it. The crescent stock will be tossed in the burn pile.

OK I'm in trouble now. Jr. saw this post and he keeps thinking of something really nice that I can get him for his 21st birthday. It looks like this is the ticket. But then I can't say as I blame him.

What's the word on when these will be for sale?
