Boyd's Savage 99 PG Stock Set

Saw a new Sav 99 PG walnut stock set @ LGS, price is low $55.00 Buttstock w/rubber Boyd's butt plate & forarm.. No obvious blems..Any input on their stocks would be appreciated, especially if you've done a 99 with one..Thanks Guys

They are only about 65miles from me by Mitchell, SD. Some friends, and even my nephew worked for them for a bit. I met the owners long ago before they moved the company to Mitchell. I've never set foot in the place but every piece I've seen from them seems to be well made. The trouble with stocks for old rifles is they almost always have to finished up fit the gun(90% inletted). I'd say that if you're getting the forearm too, better jump on it, because that's what they get just for the stock on Boyds website.
