Uberti 76 45/60
I ve been wanting one of these for a long time but here in Canada they are as scarce as hens teeth ,don t know the reason why but it is mostly a special order rifle though I ve saw a couple for sale but they were the 45/75 and the 50win.I was going to buy a CHAPARRAL mountie carbine in 45/60 but all the bad press of a hit and miss situation scared me off.Anyway a dealer here in Canada finally got one so I snapped it up.
I must say that I was awestruck when I opened the box as it is one beautiful gun.The fit and finish was superb and the overall size of the gun is very impressive.Anyone who thinks toting a Sharps around is too much gun to carry for hunting should stay away from the rifle version for sure.I have heard a few complaints about the trigger pull being too heavy about ten pounds or more but on mine it seems to be about half that.I made up a dummy round from a cut down 45/70 shell and she
cycled real smooth. This is a must have for anyone who likes the old style winchesters.I plan on taking mine this fall for deer once I tool up for.It is going to be a fun summer playing with this old girl seeing what she can do

I agree with you, they are beautiful. I loved mine in 45-75

Re: Uberti 76 45/60
Congratulations! People like you keep fueling my fire for one of those. I too looked at the Chaparral's and I agree that all the negative reviews turned me off. I'm looking for an Uberti just like yours. You've got me very envious.

I know how you feel .I really wanted the 76 carbine and I know UBERTI is going to have one out soon but up here in Canada
getting one might be a long ways off as the rifle versions are just trickling in
