OT - Biker Humor!!

Post by GoatGuy »

A little 10-year-old girl was walking home alone from school one day, when a big man on a black motorcycle pulls up beside her. After following along for a while, he turns to her and asks, "Hey there little girl, do you want to go for a ride?"

"NO!" says the little girl as she keeps on walking.

The motorcyclist again pulls up beside her and asks, "Hey little girl, I will give you $10 if you hop on the back."

"NO!" says the little girl as she hurries down the street.

The motorcyclist pulls up beside the little girl again and says, "Okay kid, my last offer! I'll give you 20 Bucks 'and' a big bag of candy if you will just hop on the back of my bike and we will go for a ride."

Finally, the little girl stops and turns towards him and screams, indignantly, "Look Dad, you’re the one who bought the Honda instead of the Harley"!

"YOU RIDE IT!"

Blaine's biggest complaint is that his daughter won't ride with him.

Not a Harley....That was a parking lot by Denny's in Shelton..not my oil...I don't think Harleys drip much oil anymore, either.... I'll put in almost 4qts of Mobil 1 or Amsoil and 6-7000 miles later, almost 4 qts come out again.

The subject of oil spots got me to remembering what an English Captain friend of mine told me once. He said the reason the Brits don't build computers is because they can't get them to leak oil all over the place! Ex-lover of Norton's and TR4A's... Wind

I can agree with that. My "77 Triumph always has it's piece of old carpet under it to absorb the "markings" and keep them off my garage floor. None of my Harleys ever leaked a drop (well, except for when my '02 Heritage blew a front fork seal; that made quite a mess when I pulled it back into the garage).

The way I heard it was that the Brits couldn't even make an OIL CAN that didn't leak!
Now, my lil 750cc Harley was made to deliberately leak oil.. Limited loss system that dripped oil on the primary chain.. Then out of the primary cover into a puddle on the ground.. no puddle under bike means time to add more oil

My first bike was a Honda CB400.

My next bike was a Yamaha 650 Special.

The bike I want is a Yamaha TW200.

When Harley (or any US mfg) makes a decent Crossover/Iron Horse, I'll look into it.

(I really like(d) the Triumph Bonneville, but they really aren't good crossover material... great for commuting, lousy over rocks.)

I can't fix any of them anyway, so "wrench friendly/required is a non-starter...

I heard Hondas are made for riddin. Harley's are made for pushin, that's why they have those wide fuel tanks.
