Pig hunt in Ga.

Post by Paul Jenkins »

Gentlemen,
A friend and I spent last weekend hunting pigs at night with heat imaging scopes and BAR's. We got 2 the first night and 12 the 2nd. night. Hogs are not considered a resourse in Ga.. They do a great deal of damage and eat a great deal of the crop. Our guides were 2 Army career men who are very good. E-Mail me if you are interested in more info.

Paul,
Are those your guns and scopes or did they belong to the guides?

Owned by the guide. Browning BAR's and $13,000 heat imaging scopes. These scopes ,I was told, are not available to the public
Here is the guides web site.

Very cool! Was the image pretty clear in the scopes? Were they "heat image" or "night vision"?

They were heat imageing scopes and very clear. Very easy to see the head from their tail. Go back to my first post on this thread for the guides web site. He has some very good videos there and a lot of pics of past successes.

Wow that looks like a hole bunch of head shot pigs. I would say the scopes worked well for you.

One of those scopes would sure come in handy coyote hunting. A bit pricey for me though
