Humor - Ted Nugent interview (PG-13 rated)
WHAT DO DEER THINK?
Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan, was being interviewed by a French journalist and animal rights activist. The discussion came around to deer hunting.
The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, 'Are you my friend?' or is it 'Are you the one who killed my brother?' "
Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French."
The interview ended at that point.

Thanks!
Sadly, "Political Correctness" is the most powerful religion in America, and it has ruined our society.

Whoa!!!! I have French roots and I find this type of incessant jabbing at the French totally and irrefutably justifiable and verrrry verrry funny!!

I read it before without the French comment.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ted at a gun shop show a couple years ago, one serious dude, maybe a little loose but an ok guy. His TV show just makes me laugh a bit, he is an expert killer and you can see it in his eyes. You never know what he is going to say or do next.

Not true, but based on something that actually happened, and then embellished.TedH wrote:Well here ya go, http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/nugent.asp.
It appears to be true.
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

At the NRA convention last year when he spoke, it seems I remember him saying the comments about the deer, and "pretty much like the French" so I wouldn't be surprised if it was originally during an interview. He doesn't self-censor much!
