Humor - Ted Nugent interview (PG-13 rated)

Post by Ysabel Kid »

WHAT DO DEER THINK?

Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan, was being interviewed by a French journalist and animal rights activist. The discussion came around to deer hunting.

The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, 'Are you my friend?' or is it 'Are you the one who killed my brother?' "

Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French."

The interview ended at that point.

I read it before without the French comment.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ted at a gun shop show a couple years ago, one serious dude, maybe a little loose but an ok guy. His TV show just makes me laugh a bit, he is an expert killer and you can see it in his eyes. You never know what he is going to say or do next. :o

Not true, but based on something that actually happened, and then embellished.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

At the NRA convention last year when he spoke, it seems I remember him saying the comments about the deer, and "pretty much like the French" so I wouldn't be surprised if it was originally during an interview. He doesn't self-censor much!

I which we had someone like HIM for president...!
