I found this in Bay City Michigan about 4 years ago. It's a pretty much plain jane 26inch round bbl. sporting rifle... 30WCF.

It carries an incomplete Marbles tang...and a 2 leaf folding express sight. I think the front is about 3/8 tall marbles bead on a dovetail.

SN dates this one about 1912. Some grandkid traded it in for a magna-boomer bolt gun... I gave less than $450 for it. The Reciever is silvered and the bbl and mag are typical flakey 90% blue like you see on a lot of these old Winchesters.

I have been looking for a stem and aperature for this sight. The bore is perfect and the screws are very good all around.

This is probably the pride of my fleet...at least as value goes.

The photo makes it appear to have a 28" barrel. Sure that it's 24"? Very nice 1894, regardless. 8)

Mike... the aspect is all screwed up. I was playing with a cell phone to take this shot.

I may have the time to shoot(photo) some of my guns outside this spring....need to get em all documented for insurance anyway.

Nice clean rifle. Standard barrel length for 94 rifles was 26" and I believe that is what yours is.
