Limping, she came striaght towards us and when she was at 50yds I bid her good morning quietly to which she stopped.
The 110grner just nicked her left mouth flesh and run into her neck.
As soon as I knew it was a in season vixen I immediatly set to hunting the dog fox that would be following her.
I spent two hours hunting him but he would just keep one step ahead and I never did see him.

Light snow began to fall and I was under dressed for the cold and so made for camp and got the old stove lit and cooked two eggs

Tia and I have had a wonderfull Christmass break hunting wise. I also took another fox on New years day morning but forgot the camera

Next weekend should be good too, I'm shooting walked up pheasant all day. I have 50 BP shot shells loaded for that

I nearly went out with my 9422 this morning and it would of done this fox just fine but if I had what with the cold weather I would of had a ball on the squirl, they were very active this morning.
