Movie Worth A Mention.

Post by cshold »

Went to the local video store yesterday with the wife.
As usual I gravitated to the very small and inadequate Western
section. There I noticed a DVD on the shelf I hadn’t seen before.
Turned out to be a half decent movie. Though not the best, nor was
it the worst. :)

Yep, barely any westerns in the movie stores or the book stores... :( I'm glad I have a 100 or so books at home and that my son has started reading them!!! :D

Yep, you've gotta go to one of the big on-line Video/VHS sites to find a good selection of Westerns.

Dang, I miss the VHS movies. Much simpler to use in my opinion and whenever I can, I always get the VHS version.

I must be livin' right. The local Hastings has a really nice well-stocked western movie section. :)

Did any of you guys see Seraphim Falls? Came out in 2006, staring Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan. Started out pretty good but turned bizarre at the end. I don't know what I expected out of an "American" western with a couple of British guys playing Civil War vets from both sides.

I am lucky to live near a great video store, Country Video, 5 movies for 5 dollars for 5 days. They have a great western and classic movie collection. And best is, its all VHS. They do have DVD's, but I am still using VHS, so I love it.
