Found five squirrel having a merry get together on boxing day, squirrel get togethers are illegal in my wood !
Number five slipped away in the confusion but I'll be looking out for him
Ammo used was an odd box of CCI standard vel I had in, solids. They did ok, once again no zero change !
I had six squirrel in the end that day and something quite rare, check my other post for that (when I write it).

That last one might be safe...it is hard to have a squirrel get-to-gether with less than two of 'em.

Nath,
I'm pretty sure that 5th one wouldn't have got away if you were using a Marlin 39A!!! Just kidding!
That is excellent shooting to get them with standard velocity solids!! Pretty much all head shots?
Great picture! I showed my 4 yr old boy and he right away wanted to know the "doggies name".

No GEOFF, no head shots. I just centred them, no time for trick shots on a mean posse like thems. I did get dirty with one that was only showing his hip to me, that showed him for a better following shot.
You know what black powder 22 ammo I'm sure would of made even more fun of it
Tia had fun retrieving them, espeicially the one that chose to hang of her ear!

I didn't know you could get tracers in 22 LR!

Man you are dangerous. First a stoat then 5 tree rats. Can't say to much about stoats but I love it when tree rats take a dirt nap. The dog is having a merry. 1886.
