Your CHRISTmas List...

Post by Bogie35 »

Hey guys. This will probably be a skinny CHRISTmas this year, so I've found myself daydreaming a little lately.
If you could get 3 things related to hunting/shooting from Santa this year, what would they be?
Mine would be:

1) Marlin 1894 Cowboy - 44 Mag.
2) Ruger Super Blackhawk - 44 Mag. (Blued, with 5.5" barrel and fluted cylinder)
3) AyA 12 Gauge Side Lock Double Gun (case colored) with 26" Barrels choked Improved Cyl. and Modified

I have no archery or shooting needs, but I would like to get a new set of lined wool coveralls and vest and boots, and more hiking socks. I still am looking for the perfect daypack and still cant find one that really meets my needs. I would like a personal kayak kit from Chesapeak light craft or a fishing kayak . thats about it. the rest would fall under surf fishing gear

Oh gosh, this is SO EASY...

# 1 - John McCain as President!!!

#2 - That smart and cute l'il hunter/shooter pistol-packin lady from Alaska as Vice-President, AND as President the next time around!!!

#3 - A Re-do of the recent Supreme Court Ruling that makes it UNAMINOUS in support of our 2nd Amendment rights -- FOREVER!!!

Yeah, I know, I guess I should have asked for 3 guns that I'm not likely to get either...

There are a few that I would like to have, but I have enough now to keep me entertained. I probably won't be getting anything else, mostly because I can't squeeze another in my safe. I won't likely sell off any as I am pretty fond of what I have now. My Santa did real good on our anniversary present so I told her NOT to get me anything for Christmas.

(1) Something really nice for my wife
(2) Something really nice for my kids
(3) Continued employment so I can do # 1 and # 2 above.

If # 3 was a sure thing (never going to happen in this economy), then I would say a "mare's leg". I know - probably as useless as, well, you know - but it is cool! 8)

Victor, just cause it makes my wish list, doesn't mean that I will get any of that stuff!! I have already picked out my new years resolution too - I vow not to buy any new (or used :D ) guns next year. That will send the gun market into a recession. VBG. Blessings to you. I hope that your dreams and wishes are met also my friend.

We, my wife and I, want to go back to AZ.

What's left of my family is there and they are getting quite ancient. Her children are there, but the rest of her family is scattered all over the world so there's no central family area.

New glasses to see with .......

New ( should I say this ) teeth to eat with

That's really about it. Nothing big really  .

Best wish of them all. I hope it comes true for you...

Until my oldest went off to college I didn't know what the fuss was about when I'd hear parents say "It was so good to have everyone HOME for the holidays..." Somehow as a parent the home is never quite right once they start going off on their own.

1) '92 Winchester .357 takedown.
3) Colt SAA .357 5 1/2".
2) Colt Mustang .380 auto in nickle with rosewood grips.

No toys on the list this year. Got enough.

I'd like the following:

1) Continued good health for family members.

2) My youngest's continued success in college in a tough Physician Assistant program.

3) This economy and country gets straightened out as soon as possible.
