Welcome to the Leverguns.Com General Discussions Forum. This is a high-class place so act respectable. We discuss most anything here other than politics... politely.
Please post political post in the new Politics forum.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I think the separate "politics" forum has worked out well. About 3/4ths of the "OT" posts were political alerts and rants, and now you can sign in and just view all "active" topics (which is what I do, since I don't mind the political posts), or just view all "general" topics - which will be mostly leverguns or somewhat related fun/gun stuff.
Plus, it gets me out of having to remember to post the monthly "too many OT political posts rebuttal" each month.
All together now...

I have noticed the nice peaceful and gunny attitude here of late, but I didn't observe that a new forum for politics had been created. I shant go there! Kudos to whoever thunk it up!

Actually - not to carry this over INTO a "political" post, but I hope those who don't like to do the "political" side of things (i.e. just 'ignore' the political section of the forum) do remember that their hobby/freedom is in serious jeapordy, and even if they want to lock out the politics from their evening relaxation on the forum, I hope they carve out some OTHER time to 'do the right thing' and help us all preserve our freedom...! Just an hour a week can do alot if it is spent effectively. If that's too distasteful, pick an organization to send $20 bucks to every month.

This is an off topic political post and has no business in this forum....

Quite frankly I found myself spending less and less time here prior to the change of venue. I just plain didn't enjoy the forum as well as I used to. I passed up the political topics, but it was a major task to ferret through them.
Now I find myself spending more time enjoying the posts, and getting some great info again!-Vall

OK, so put Blaine's last post in the "Political" forum, then!
...Just kiddin' Blaine.
I AM a political animal - have become quite politically intense since certain things have transpired in the last few years, including certain issues relating to gun ownership (but I won't go further here). Even so, I totally agree that it is a great idea to allow political posts, but on a separate forum. Even I get tired of hearing all of the political stuff, even though I occasionally post it myself. I really joined Leverguns.com and visit it daily because of its excellent leverguns / shooting / reloading / hunting / cameraderie / photos!
I was gettin so tired of listening to political garbage that towards the end of the cycle I started carrying CD's to listen to at work instead of the radio. This is peaceful.
