I havn't got even a thousand miles on a new Dodge dually, with a 6 speed manual tranny!! But that is where the similarities end with your bike, what a beauty you have there. Congrats!! It's nice to work, and afford a little something here and there isn't it?

Nice bike, it should provide many, many miles of enjoyment.

Thats a beaut. I'm thinking there are enough of us here on the site to have a motorcycle rally and levergun weekend. Your hog is a beaut for sure. I love my 2007 Black and Chrome Street Bob. Best of Luck

I rode from Colorado to Ohio and back at the end of September on an '85 FXRS (80" 5-speed). I'm thinking I would have been much more comfortable on something like that.

Congrats, nice bike! Wifey has a 07, suede blue. I like your color better. Nothin like getting a new motorcycle. Your lucky, as I assume you can ride year round. It's 15 degrees as I type this so the bikes can only sit in the garage. Good luck, ride safe.

Nice scoot. I'd be thanking the wife, you're a lucky man.
My wife has never liked Harley's. She says it sounds like they're falling apart. I love the sound of a big twin thumpin' along.

Re: OT 96 inch 6 speed
You've got a very nice bike. I looked at the Ultras back in 04, but the wife liked the look of the Heritage Softail Classic so we ordered one of those. Its a TC88 5 speed. My longest trip so far was 2100 miles. Salt Lake to the Puget Sound and back. I wired in a Bradcron electronic cruise control and changed to a Mustang seat with a back rest and I can go twice as far without feeling the need to get off of the bike. Those two items were a HUGE improvement.
