Here she is. New manufacture 86 T.D. .45-90. It is L.N.I.B. I rescued it from a collector unfired. As I am not a collector but rather an accumulator. I will fix the unfired condition. Quality seems typical Miroku. Good but not great wood and really nice blue with very good to excellent fit and finish. One note, it seems there is no retaining pin running thru the mag. hanger. I read thru the manual and it appears that the mag. screws into the receiver. Any known problems with mag. retention in these models? I know it can be a problem on some 92s. I had a drop dead gorgeous, slick as snot, Cim. 92 .45 Colt that had the dreaded growing mag. tube issue. Any feedback from owners of this particular model regarding this subject? I need to order up dies and brass. The brass is a no brainer, Starline. I am leaning towards Lyman dies. I like the M die and the expander is properly sized to shoot hard cast. I will order a custom expander thru Buffalo Arms sized .457-.462 for the softer cast stuff. As always I welcome your comments. Thanks. 1886.

Congratulations! That looks a lot like the one I was shooting at the range today! To answer your question, NO, the mag tube is screwed in solid and does not appear to be able to unscrew if the lever at the tip is closed. The takedown is easy, just follow the instructions in the manual!
