OT Buff ribs off the grill

Post by rjohns94 »

Had to put off for a few days the rib dinner I was planning. Got in late tonight but decided tonight was the night to make that happen. I parboiled the ribs on the stove, layed them out a rack and hand rubbed some spices, chillis and then lavishly put my favorite barbeque sauce on the ribs. The grill was heated to near 450 degrees, and the ribs were layed out to take on the flavors of the grilling process and the spices and chillis and sauce.

I was in buff heaven! I put the ribs on a platter, and complimented it with just apple sauce and a side of bbq sauce. I didn't chase these with a lager tonight, just a pepsi, but I don't think I missed it.

once again I remember how this cow bison offered herself to me, turning to allow the sharps to do its job. I remember the new friendships that were struck and the laughter and jovial conversations that filled that weekend.

That truly looks tasty. With a baked sweet potato and a slab of toasted garlic braed that would be perfect................ Sorry just drooling out load.

And an ear of sweet corn, baked beans, and cole slaw!

THEN, a nap!
