I'm looking at my nice 16" trapper with the ugly wart in 44 mag I just got 2 weeks ago for $325.00 and thinking maybe I should upgrade.

Then again, I'm also thinking of how many times I'll be slipping down the side of the ravines while deer hunting the bluff country of Buffalo County and thinking that new trapper might be too pretty.

Think I'll pass

Just think though how easy it would be to get rid of that rebounding hammer action. No wart, no tang safety, just R&R the parts and go shooting.

As for being too pretty for hunting, nah that's what it's for. It's a tool meant to be used.

I do agree that this will close well over $600.

I also agree with Mr. Miller. It's a "tool" to be used. It's no fun just to look at. :D
