1886 EL front site size

just bought brand new win. 1886 EL 45-70 ingun store in Elkins w.va ,he does have one more left unfired with box if anybody enteristed (sorry R.LEE ERMY no digital camrea,no pictures)just read in another thread (didnt want to hijack it)that miroku cuts the rear site dovetail 3/8 inch but alittle on the big side .I like flat top front sites and before i order one ,does miroku also cut the front site dovetail a little big ,and if do what is good way to make front site tight?

My EL has had three front sights. All fit well.

Peening the bottom of the sight with a punch to raise nibs works well, paint-on solder works well also - It takes little heat to get it to melt.
