Close to home for me, too. I've still got several friends overseas. Someday Jeremy, having "brought up" younger Marines in the Corps, though you'll be retired you'll understand. They're just like your kids. Oh, I know, right now they might be problems or challenges, but later....

They are my kids now. Next month I get to send some of them to the sand box with out me while I sit here awaiting orders. :(

I have no doubts that they will get the job and come home safely. But now I know how retired hunting dogs feel when their humans walk out the door to go hunting with out them

Now, now - it is not time to put you out to pasture just yet!

Me... thanks a whole different story! My whole goal in life was to reach a ripe old age so I could become a cranky old man! Just didn't realize I would accomplish the goal so darn soon!!! :wink:
