OT: My suggestion for Dick Heller & DC residents

Post by Texican »

So, having read about the hassles that are being piled upon the DC residents seeking permits by their reluctant and recalcitrant city government post-Heller decision, I had this thought.

If they won't let you register a semi-auto handgun, get a revolver.

If by doing so you must limit your ammo capacity, use big bullets.

If they mandate surrendering your firearm for ballistics testing...

...go ahead and get a S&W .500 Magnum with a 2" barrel. (maybe a special D.C. model with scandium frame could be designed...)

Now imagine how much fun the city will have finding guys to do the test firing if all the guns coming in were the same.

[I'd also want mine modded to accept moon clips]

A 3" DA .454 (readily available from Rossi & IIRC Ruger) would be plenty to break a few "tester" wrists.

And here I thought you were going to suggest something mundane, like... move! :D

Really give 'em something to think about... buy a "Mare's Leg"!
