Pictures from Missouri
So I got to shoot my brand new Puma 92 .44Mag while down in Missouri visiting my brother. I also got to shoot his replica English Fowler, a total treat in itself. Here are pictures .
This is the brother I was visiting, Eugene.

Re: Pictures from Missouri
Mansfield, MO.
I have some more photos coming up when my brother sends them, but here is a picture of the bank of the 1 acre pond we were using for a backstop. We were shooting rocks about 60yds away. It isn't the best picture since the weeds are so tall, but I will post better pictures of the pond and all that later.

Great pix. Although, those aren't weeds, they're wildflowers!

The photos were taken as I was about to squeeze the trigger.
Sorry about the weed inference, I am a Kalifornian by birth, not by choice Wildflower is a much more appropriate term.

Re: Pictures from Missouri
Technically, they are weeds because they are not native to Missouri. The pretty blue flowers are chickory, a native of Eurasia and quite an invasive species in some areas. But they are still pretty!

Kids in short pants playing with firearms? What's the world coming to?
I don't recall ever being to Mansfield. The Mark Twain National Forest over by Willow Springs (along the North Fork of the White River), however is a favorite place in my memories...
Thanks for sharing the pics, looks like y'all were having a real blast...

Re: Pictures from Missouri
OK guys, more pictures.
These are the first 2 of 10-11 bullfrogs that I killed for a frog leg dinner.
Here is everyone on the first night we got there. (Except Ginny and her husband Jeff)
Eugene, myself and Sam at the edge of the pond. They just shot off the AK-74 when I came down.
My niece, Madison. She loves posing for the camera. (Eugene's kid)
My sister Ginny with the 4mo old nephew, Mykola. (Eugene's baby)
BTW, hunting bullfrogs with a bow can be very expensive. I broke about 6-7 arrows doing it due to impacts with small rocks and such so if you guys ever get the hankering to try it out, I highly recommend using a .22 handgun or rifle, gig or blowgun... or something. Nevertheless, it was really fun. The other nights when I went in I was walking around in the water near the ponds edge and knocking off all the big ones. The water was really warm and the bullfrogs plentiful, it was a real treat. Too bad I didn't see any rabbits hanging out, it seems like they vacate whenever I am around...
For the 4th of July, we smoked an entire pig overnight and had a bunch of people over. We didn't even get through 1/2 the pig there was so much meat. That was the best barbeque I've ever been to. We also bought and lit off about 100 bucks in fireworks... you could totally tell we came from an oppressed state!
Well, thats about it. I just got my brother's photos and I still have to get his friend's photos as well to see if there is anything else I could post.
Thanks fellow levergunners!

Very nice post.
I am also a native of Missouri.
Unfortunatly I was removed from my ancestral state
while still a child .
But when I retire I am going back to St Francois
county.
