Another great Pearce Article

Just got my new Handloader magazine and was happy to find a Pet Loads column on loading the 38-40 for revolvers. As a guy with an old New Service and a Uberti SAA so chambered this was a delight. Great data with a variety of newer powders that are easier to find than old friends like Unique and loads ranging from cowboy level to real deal field loads.
I can't imagine that many folks are loading for 38-40 revolvers compared to so many other topics they could have covered so I'm quite grateful for the efforts expended in gathering the data and for including it in limited publishing space.

Rats. Now I have to buy a copy of Handloader even though I don't currently own a .38-40.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try and find the article on line. Not reloading it yet, but need to for my 73 Win, and Cim. Model P, and the Colt SAA I hope is in my future.

In Raton he was asking for ideas on subjects for articles. Somehow my suggestion of an in depth article on the 22 Velodog didn't seem to pique his interest...
