My daughter and granddaughter dropped by Monday for a late Father's Day visit. Granddaughter just got home from her freshman year at college studying art as her major. She built a wooden bowling ball in her class that the instructor told all the students that no power tools were allowed to be used on their project! Hers came out perfect as usual, and ahead of schedule too, so she went a little crazy carving in cats all over hers and then burning in the design with a weed burning tool. She surprised me with it as a gift for Father's Day! Her bowling ball took highest honors in class and also wont their spring art show. Best gift ever!

She's got massive skills and talent!! She's been doing art since she could draw, and woodworking since around age 12 when her dad finally let her run power tools.
