Just got word from Sheriff Jim Wilson that Jim Taylor has been injured in a wreck. The Sheriff said Jim would be in ICU for a bit. Knowing Jim, he'll pull through with no issues. Prayers needed! If anyone else has more knowledge, please keep us informed.

I spoke with his daughter and Jim is in the ICU.

Apparently it was a go-cart accident.

Update from Jim's daughter, Jami.
Jim's daughter Jami shared that Jim was in a Go Kart wreck and was in the hospital. Please keep him in your prayers.

Here is the update from her on his condition:

Finally saw Doctor. Basically his spine is pretty messed up. C2 vertebrae is bad but c6 and c7 - the ligaments are disrupted all around them. He also has chronic/narrowing (old age) in portions of his back. So they have to make a plan how to proceed with surgery (surgery is likely - unless Jesus gives us a miracle). Multiple areas - different issues - may require different access points? Brain bleed is minimal and they aren’t worried about it. Neck bleed should resolve on its own.

* we deeply appreciate all the prayers and love. I know dad is “one of God’s Favorites” - I’m sure many of you have heard dad say that to you.

I’ll try to post major updates as I get them.

For those who did not know - he also has 2 broken ribs and a broken clavicle. Those are clean breaks and look like they will heal well. Please pray for his neck and back. Thank you.

I just heard about this one minute ago. Yes, everything Paul posted is what I know as well. His condition is serious so please pray for him. He and I talk somewhat regularly about theological things, more than guns. He has been a good friend to me in my own times of trial the last couple of years. I am very distraught to read about this. -Tutt

More prayers, directed at specific areas of the spine -- and for his surgical team, and for his family.
Funny how, under these circumstances, shooting and gun stuff matters so little and Jim matters a lot. I think he is teaching another lesson, God bless that man.

I hope his docs not only address any 'surgical' needs, but also consider helping bone and muscle heal, and vigor return, by making sure his endocrine environment is good - to heal bone and muscle one needs not only calcium, magnesium, vitamin D (&K), but also high protein intake and testosterone. Leaving out any of those things is a problem, and many physicians ignore the last one, figuring all it does is the fun stuff. It does way more than that.
