This morning, I did look at a 2026 quarter coin and noticed the pilgrims on one side with 1776-2026 and the Mayflower ship with Mayflower Compact on the other side.
What has the Mayflower Compact signed in 1620 have to do with 1776?
And now I see a quarter with "Voto Para La Mujer" on it. What the heck is that?

The phrase means "vote for women" (not sure that's always a good thing - I tend to base my vote on other than the candidate's genitalia or chromosomes, but I guess I'm old-fashioned...
And lots happened between the Mayflower and the founding of the U.S.A.
